I was living in Tucson last spring, and came across an artricle about a study on the connection between antibiotics and people suddenly recovering, yes, recovering, from schizophrenia! I had the sense to write to Tucson shooter Jared Loughner’s lawyer (although she never responded so I can’t prove cause and effect), and voila, the following August 2012, just 5 months later, we had a court ruling Loughner sane enough to plead guilty. Sane? Sane enough to sign the rest of his life away with a guity plea? Wow. Will we ever really know what brought him so suddenly out of his schizophrenia? Only his lawyer and doctors know for sure.

Dear Ms. Clarke,
While I am not a fan of Jared Loughner, I am a Tucson resident who would like to see this case progress to trial. Just a few days ago, I came across an article that, with any luck, could break the log jam of the current treatment that appears to not be helping Mr. Loughner’s return to sanity. Since the drug is already on the market, perhaps his doctors would consider a test of an off-label prescription.

So now here we are, at least two shootings later, and both of those are again, tied to psychiatric drugs. Every berzerk mass shooting we’ve had since at least as far back as Columbine has been by shooters on psychiatric drugs, or shooters in recent withdrawal from psychaitric drugs, which nowadays are prescribed for every little sniffle. Suicidal and Homicidal ‘ideations’ (aka thoughts) are known side effects of these drugs. Enough is enough. It’s time to point the finger at the REAL CAUSE — chemically tampering with people’s brains, putting them permanently on maintenance drugs that make their insanity permanent, rather than finding and treating and freeing them from (aka curing) the cause.
The truth shall set us free.
As much as the liar in the White House disgusts me, I have overcome my disgust to create an account on the WhiteHouse.gov website, and wade through all the politically opportunist gun control petitions to find (or create if need be) a petition demanding investigation and exposure of the real cause of these shootings. Side effects of powerful permanent prescription mind-altering drugs, rather than treating the cause and curing them.
Sign this White House petition, please. The truth shall set us free, of hell repeatedly dumping its horror on us.
